You will have plenty of time for all your photo opportunities and to buy any souvenirs that you wish. You will also see ‘Lizzie’s walk, and catch a glimpse of Longbourn itself. You will have lunch here (not included) before travelling onwards.Īfter lunch you will travel on to visit the very lovely, small church that served as Longbourn Church, where Lizzie marries Darcy and Jane weds Bingley. You will also see the filming views, the site where the Bennet sisters met Wickham for the first time amongst others. This beautiful National Trust village includes the sites for Meryton Assembly rooms, Darcy’s university and The Bell at Bromley. You will then visit the village of Meryton. Longbourn, by Jo Baker, tells the story of Pride and Prejudice from the point of view of the servants who wait on the Bennet family at their titular ancestral home. ![]() Imaginary places: Longbourn (residence of the Bennets), Netherfield Park. ![]() Our guide will meet you at Bath Railway Station and from there you will have a walking tour of Bath, with our guide pointing out those sites that Jane Austen would have known and been familiar with, along with her various homes in the city.
